Summary
Other related areas will be observed and from this research it is hoped to create a portfolio of work that will experiment with image and sound, born in a computer and put out into the real world.

Film is a series of images wound together to create the illusion of movement. We are no longer in awe of the power of moving image with sound - it is all around us from television to cinema and from mobiles to computers. The notion of trying to recreate sound and image but by creating some sort reverse illusion might make people reconsider the medium and the message.

Themes to be covered in sound are spoken dictionary definitions of words (such as xenophobia & jingoism) recreated to give them presence. This can be extended to a host of phrases and sentences.

Image themes will be captured via web cams, mobile phones and built in i-sight cameras. Subject matter for these will be centred around the ironic use of computers, such as plugs being pulled out and light bulbs going off.

It is hoped that there will not be an end result, but a collection of experiments and ideas collated together into a format which can be used to develop future projects.
