List of Tasks

top

This project will be managed in three parts:
1) RESEARCH OF MATERIALS & KNOWLEDGE
Analyse current information while continuing to look into various other forms of information, such as relevant texts, artists’ works, Web sites, reviews, etc. (ie this document).

2) IDEAS GENERATION
From the collated information, ideas will be generated from a range of contrasting concepts, thus providing a quantity of possible starting points for a successful final piece.

3) REALISATION
After careful consideration of the ideas, one - or perhaps a series - will be selected to develop. A final piece will be made, but it will be desirable that this work will also act as a springboard to launch future projects.

Steve Snell for his continued guidance and help in the workshop (you are a mentor as well as a skilled craftsman). Also to Biddy Palmer and Anita Bristow in the workshop, who helped with the early stages of the work. Ray Stanley was of great assistance in the pre-planning and design stage of the box and in the drawing stages.

Big thanks to Jerry Hatt for his invaluable help with PHP on a PC. Thank you for allowing all the endless calls about deciphering code.

Alice Lily, always on call to check the
validity of what I am saying. I am forever
in your debt!

Lucie Hernandez for her support and guidance in person and via email.

Jeremy Gardiner, my tutor and Programme Leader - your guidance through discussion and dialogue has been extremely helpful and appreciated.

Mike Bowen at the Natural History Museum.

Lastly to Aunt Elizabeth, for allowing me to photograph my Granny’s personal effects and to my Mum for her support throughout. Also to my Granny - a formidable woman. This work is in memory of you.
