In this body of work I am exploring ideas generation in relation to the creation of final works of art. (With so many works of art in the world what is the point creating another?)

'Dossiers' are bids to capture ideas as they emerge and instead of bringing them to fruition, stop at the point of realisation and simply record the idea, as it exists, without any further development. Halting the development of an idea goes against my traditional art and design training, but in a way is cathartic as I bind myself with the rule of ending progression.

The translation of notes, scribbles, sketches, torn articles are collated by scanning and simulating on the web page the evidence of the idea. My aim is to mimic the first point of an idea by recording the elements, visual movement and interaction with the viewer (this interaction can be in some cases just watching or intervention with a mouse or track pad).
